In 2025, ESS reached Beam on Dump in the accelerator, completed hardware installation and started neutron factory tests in the target, and brought the Test Beamline and three instruments to readiness for neutron commissioning. With the control infrastructure in place and a 24/7 control room in operation, we moved closer to science and opening up the world of materials.
